Quick spaceship. I long for the day I can make a living drawing spaceships, robots and ducks. AND NOTHING ELSE. Done in illustrator, spaceship is for a specific project but I wanged it on a background as liked it enough to stick it on the web.

I drew this instead of working on my new website. My new website may take a while. Inspired by some Tudor designs I was looking at (for my website design).

Work in progress for the new Shinytastic site.  Definitely needs some robots and rabbits adding.

Rough design submitted for an invite to a local formal event.

We did this nearly a year ago then sat on it for some reason. Can’t remember why so it’s probably not so important. Nick (Reincarnationfish) wrote an album for February Album Writing Month last year and asked me create the designs for it. Album is called ‘Science Ninja Team Go’ so using the law of ‘most obvious illustration possible’ I drew ninjas in lab coats. I think this was my first illustration using paper and pencils, everything previous had been photo-montages or basic shapes. Final version was traced (by hand) in illustrator and coloured/composited in photoshop. Wish I hadn’t left it so long to upload, I think my illustrator skills are much improved since then but I’m still happy with the end result.

It’s a bit of a departure from Reincarnationfish’s usual indietronica, more of an ambient/IDM slant. It’s also awesome. Download it and tell him how good it is, he might make some more.

Bit of a rough couple of weeks at work so this took two weeks longer than intended (to find the time). Named after the Reincarnationfish song (of the same name). Seem to be finding song names and lyrics (especially Rfish’s) a good source of inspiration at the moment.

Trying to complete at least one self-initiated piece a week, this took two but I blame illness. Started the next one last night.

Trying to do more unplanned/self initiated stuff. This was  a quick pic using a photo of the blackbird that sits outside my office window.

Still alive! Knocked up an incredibly twee Xmas card* while waiting for Virus Checks and Backups to run – for some reason I’m utterly incapable of doing anything directly constructive while such things are happening, this is something I must get over.

Anyway, in case I don’t get another chance/burst of motivation to post before Thursday, have a wonderful Christmas, I for one am aiming for taking photos of winter and getting some peace and quiet.
